R’Professional Career Closet Online
The R’Professional Career Closet is Now Open
The Career Center and ASUCR have joined forces to offer an online and contact-less experience for acquiring professional wear through the R’Professional Career Closet (Online). The R’Professional Career Closet was created to professionally prepare students for the workforce with tools, preparation and professional attire for interviews, career fairs, and/or networking events. Our goal is to prepare UCR students to make a great and competitive first impression by providing students with professional attire.
New Spring 2021 Hours
The R'Professional Career Closet will be available for pick up by appointment only during the following hours: Thursdays 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM and Fridays 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM.
How it Works
R'Professional Career Closet is available to current UCR students during the academic year. Beginning in Spring 2021, students can submit an online request for up to 3 items per quarter through this Online Request Form. Here, you will indicate your preferences and a personal shopper will select items from our inventory on your behalf and send to you for approval. Once approved, the personal shopper will work with you to arrange for a pick up date and time during our scheduled hours. Items are free, non-returnable, and you do not need to prove financial need.
Choose your business attire
Choose your business attire:
Make a request for professional attire through our Online Request Form and with the assistance of one of our R'Professional Career Closet interns, find an outfit or combination of clothing pieces that will work for you. You can choose up to 3 items OR one outfit (example: blazer, pants, and dress shirt) per quarter. The items you take will be yours to keep at no charge to you. Visit our Instagram page at @rcareercloset to see samples of current inventory items. For more information, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have professional clothing you can spare, please donate it to R’Professional Career Closet. Your clothing will go to a student who is interviewing for a job but doesn’t have appropriate business attire. To donate your gently used professional attire, sign up for an upcoming donation drive or schedule by appointment only with our interns for a drop off date through this Community Partner Donation Request Form. For more information, contact us at email@example.com.
Clothing should be:
