Log in to SCOTlink, choose “Documents” and select “Resume Builder.” Select from a variety of modern templates. Put information from your completed resume worksheet into the program to generate your resume.

Bring your resume to the Career Center during drop-in hours (Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and Friday, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.). Our counselors can help.

Adding your resume to a book makes it easy for employers to contact (and hire!) you.
Add Your Resume to a Book
1. Go to SCOTlink.
2. Select “Documents.”
3. Select the “Opt-in Resume Book” tab.
4. Identify the resume you wish to submit*.
5. Choose "Select Resume Books."
6. Check the box by the appropriate resume book. Please read the descriptions in SCOTlink and the FAQs below, before choosing from:
Education Life Sciences
Humanities Social Sciences
Physical Sciences Engineering & Technical
7. Select “Submit.”
8. Use "Back" to choose another resume book. You may choose a maximum of two books.
*By submitting your resume to any opt-in resume book, you are authorizing the Career Center to make your resume available to all employers.
Obtain a Resume Book to Review
Student Organizations – Request a resume book for your student organization. Your members can give resume books to employers, share them with guest speakers or take them to conferences.

No. Resume books are an additional opportunity to reach employers (some of whom are not interviewing on campus or attending career fairs).
Can I add my resume to a resume book that is not in my major field?
Yes, but be sure that you are genuinely interested in a career in that field. Also, tailor your resume to fit jobs that align with that category. For example, an English major should highlight his or her marketing internships for the business book, but student teaching experience for the education book.
If I get a job, can I remove my resume from a resume book?
Yes, you can withdraw your resume from future versions of a resume book. Go to the “Opt-in Resume Book” tab in the “Documents” section of SCOTlink and select the resume book that contains your resume. Un-check the box next to it and select “Submit.” The resume book name should disappear from the “Opt-in Resume Book” column next to your resume.
