A Letter of Reference File is a collection of letters written on the student's behalf for potential applications for graduate study or academic employment in K-12 and Higher Education settings. For the convenience of the reference author, rather than write a separate letter for each application, the author writes one letter which remains on file whenever needed. Many academic institutions and employers refer to the Letter of Reference File as a "placement file." Letters of Reference Files at the UCR Career Center are available to UCR students and UC alumni only. Current Students | Alumni |
